What is so magical about New York City? (p1)

WARNING: This blogpost probably is going to be a little longer then the other ones. I mean, New York deserves that!

First of all, I would like to apologize about some grammar errors in general on this blog. I'm not a native English speaker and in some of the blogs emotions are embedded. And when there is an emotion, there is no reason. You know, for grammar you need a reason. But I think that my, non native american, perspective on things might be interesting for you.

  • New York?
I spent a couple of days in New York City. I'm too excited. City of my dreams. I did not expected that this city is so magical. You fall in love at first sight. The first thing i saw from the bus's (Bolt Bus got me round trip from DC to New York for $40) window were helicopters, a lot of them. First thought was that something is going on in the city.  On the way to 6-th avenue between Grants and Watts (where the bus should have left me) i saw around 20 helicopters. After a while i realized that this is only one of many ways to get from point A to point B in this megapolis.
The bus left me at 6th avenue, alone, with a backpack. Can you imagine? A boy born and raised in a city with 30.000 people, now alone in this giant city. And the city it self was chaos...sirens from everywhere, a lots of people, big but old buildings and mix of different smells. Waves of different smell are hitting you on every step. You can feel the smell of expensive perfumes and at the same time the smell of dirt, old, and mold. Molded furniture, that is the most common smell.
Unlike other places in the US people in New York smells on perfume, a lot of perfume. Expensive perfume.
Each of them has it's own story, its own meaning of life
I was walking in the city. I'm going to the Casey Neistat's office. That was my initial plan. Headed to Broadway street. On the way to Broadway i realized that rules here are very very loose. None is taking the rules seriously, not even the traffic rules. Everybody seems chill. Something unusual for New York right? Just a step forward and you can listen to this loud machines. They are pulling down a building. New York shows you how mighty it is. It does not care about you being here. It is not polite with you. New York is living the same life with you or without you! I've finished my lunch and finished taking photos from Casey's office. Now my mission was to get to upper Manhattan. My place was Madison Avenue and 110th street. I get to the metro.

Brooklyn bridge is like the artery of the city. It transfers a lot of people

I've met Casey Neistat

I've met the man. The golden boy of YouTube. New York City in front of his office. I was on my way to the bus with which I should have traveled to Washington DC. The subway left me three blocks from the meeting point. I was an hour early. I said to my self that I will pass by Casey's office, it is on my way to the bus anyway. For the record, I'm huge fun of Casey Neistat and his work. If you have asked me which celebrity i would like to meet the most, I would certainly answer Casey Neistat. I arrived in front of his office, and called a friend of mine who is also fan of Casey. He did not answered my call. I called coworker of mine, he also like Casey very much. I was showing him where I was, and suddenly in my frame Casey showed up. He was leaving a store next to his office. Me: Ej Casey (Ej is Macedonian, i was not able to use my English, because i was too excited).  Casey : Hi man. What's up? Me: Can we take a picture....of...hum... Casey: Sure man.  Me: ...
